Closed Saturday May First to celebrate the rights of workers!
A Better Cycle will be closed on Saturday May First to celebrate May Day. We will resume normal business hours on Sunday May Second at 10am.

A Better Cycle is proud to carry Bike Cozy's awesome hand made goods in our shop. Bike Cozy is a project of A Better Cycle Worker/Owner Rachel. From her etsy:

Filmed by Bike
It's that time of year again. Time for Portland's best bicycle film fest: Filmed By Bike! Tomorrow is opening night and will include a raffle with prizes donated by A Better Cycle and others.
Yes, we have for your raffling pleasure: 2 gift certificates offering WINNER'S CHOICE
A) Free project lesson for your bike...we'll set you up with a one-on-one session with a mechanic who will walk you through step-by-step to fix a particular problem, or work on a particular project.
B) Free labor on a bicycle tune-up." 1 front and 1 rear blinky light. 1 package of Fun Reflectors reflective stickers pack. 1 cycling cap sewn by local A Red Bee Badges. and finally, 1 pair of Shoelace Wranglers.
Gotta be at Filmed by bike Friday night to win. Admission is $8.00 - $15.00 (which includes 2 free raffle tickets and a sticker). Make sure to get in line early if you want to attend Friday night, it will sell out.
