Mayday 2014

Hey Gang! We are closed tomorrow (Thursday, May 1st) in observation of International Workers Day. Also known as Mayday. We are workers, so it makes sense. We hope you tired, blue collar types find a moment of respite as well.

Tune Up Pricing

Hello All,

We are raising the price of our Full and Light Tune up. We have held the price at $60.00/$40.00 for a few years. We've learned that the level of service most of our tune ups require exceeds what can be done without more time/effort. In order to continue offering the level of quality we feel is necessary, we need to increase our latitude in performing repairs. This coupled with basic cost of living increase, we are overdue for new pricing.

Our new prices will be:

Full Tune Up, $85.00 (not including parts). This includes the installation of wear parts, adjustment and lubrication of all parts of the bicycle, wheel truing, Bearing adjustments, and proper tire inflation.

Light Tune Up, $60.00 (not including parts). If your bicycle does not require the replacement of wear parts, such as cables/housings; cassette/freewheel, or wheel truing, we will recommend the Light Tune Up. This includes, as above, adjustment and lubrication of all parts of the bicycle. We will install a chain, and/or brake pads if needed.

We hope our wonderful clientele, who have helped us realize our dream, and made us the successful shop we are today, will stand behind our decision. We feel this will help us to continue offering the quality of service we have been providing over the years without reducing our quality of life.

This change will take place on May 1st, 2014. Bicycles dropped off for an estimate before that date will be honored at the original price.

Our “ala carte” prices will not be affected by this change.

We thank you for your support in this necessary move. We are so proud of what we've been able to accomplish, and are so grateful to all of you who have made this possible.

Yours truly,
Clinton Garner
