A Better Cycle Labor Price List
Safety Inspection/Repair estimate: $10 deposit. (This, non-refundable charge will go towards the final cost of the repair)
Includes inspection of all components for wear and/or proper adjustment as well as minor adjustments to derailleurs, brakes, etc.(This must be done in order to schedule a repair.)
Light Tune Up: $40 + parts
(If during the repair estimate, we deem your bike doesn't need the entirety of what we offer in a Tune Up we may suggest this.)
A light tune up includes: clean and lube chain, lube cables, adjust brakes, adjust derailleurs, properly inflate tires
Tune Up: $60 +parts
(If during the repair estimate we deem your bike needs these services we may suggest this.)
A tune-up service includes the installation of brake pads, cables and housing (labor only) as well as the adjustment of all components, lubrication of all moving parts,and wheel truing.
Bicycle Overhaul/Build: $120-180 +parts
Complete bicycle dis-assembly, component cleaning, repack & replace as needed all bearings, brake and shifter cables and housings, brake pads, true wheels, and reassembly.

* Single Speed Build (Labor): $85
* Multi-Speed Bike Build (Labor): $120
*Multis-Speed Frame Swap(Labor): $150(Cables and Housing, as well as any necessary wear parts will be added on top of the labor price as needed.)
Tires and Wheels
* Install And/Or Remove Tire or Tube: $5 per wheel
* Install Wheel Rim Strip or Tape: $0 with tube or tire change, $5 alone
* Remove/Install Freewheel: $5
* Cone Adjustment (Per Hub): $5-10
* Repack Hub (Per Hub): $20 Front/$25 Rear
* Wheel True/Dish (Per wheel): $15-30
* Re-dish Wheel for Single Speed: $30-40
* Spoke Replacement (Includes Truing): $15-30 labor, $1 per spoke
* Wheel Building: $50 one wheel, $90 for 2 wheels labor, $1 per spoke
* Brake Adjustment: $5-10

* Adjust Brakes/Derailleur: $0-$5 Front or Rear

For anything else go by our General Labor Charge, which is $1 per minute or $60 per hour (approximately)
